Bass Guitar & Violin

Mason Bissett is an instructor/performer who can play or teach anything with strings.  He graduated from Wake Forest University where he studied graphic arts and music with bass player Matt Kendrick.  He was a member of Cast Iron Filter and recorded two of their best-selling albums “Live From The Highway” and “This Ugly Town”.  Currently he plays with Jeff Hartman, The Humans, and Billy Jones/the Pocket.  He is also writing and illustrating a children’s music book and can be found sculpting tiki idols in his spare time.  Mason teaches with an exciting, holistic style and makes music fun for his students.
